Dr. Andrea Davis Wood hails from Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, she enrolled in Spelman College and received a B.S. degree in Biology. Further, she earned a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from Mercer University School of Pharmacy. After working for almost a decade as a Registered Pharmacist, she was accepted into The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where she earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 1991.
Dr. Wood is a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. She has fully enjoyed providing quality dental care to the residents of Georgia for the last twenty-five years. Specifically, she credits Youth Dentistry of Macon for affording her the opportunity to care for children and young adults of middle Georgia.
Dr. Scott Farrell, DDS, recently moved to Macon, GA in February of 2016. He is originally from Detroit, MI and comes here most recently by way of Little Rock, AR.
Dr. Farrell graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1996. Upon graduation he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Texas. He then furthered his training by completing a 1 year Misch International Implant Institute Surgical Residency program in 2008. He is also a certified Invisalign (clear braces) provider. Dr. Farrell is licensed to practice dentistry both here in Georgia and in Arkansas. He returns to Arkansas one weekend a month to provide dental care to our US Military troops. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Farrell has committed most of his dentistry to serving underserved communities. The past six years almost exclusively with children.
Dr. Tuan Tong earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in 1996. He received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2001. In 2003, Dr. Tong returned to his beloved home state of Georgia to begin his dental practice. He has held numerous positions at varied levels throughout his fifteen years in dentistry, thus providing him with the experience in all aspects of dentistry. He is always excited about learning and advancing his skills and knowledge. His greatest passion is working with all age groups of children. He is a compassionate Doctor that uses his years of experience to provide the highest quality of care for his patients.
Dr. Tong also loves to spend his leisure time doing things such as going to the park and movies with his wife and 3 children. His other hobbies include running, exercising, gaming, traveling, and walking his cute little dog, Tripp. Nothing gives him more satisfaction and pleasure than helping others that are less fortunate. That is why he works with various children and adult charities at Good Samaritan Health Center in Atlanta during his spare time. Giving back to the community and serving others is what brings him the greatest enjoyment. It is what keeps him humble and driven to do his very best for every patient.
